Registering a cohort.
Students register themselves. Instructors handle the roster and the payment. Three steps, and the order matters.
Students create their own profiles
Every student must have their own account in the portal before they can be registered for an exam. Students cannot be added by an instructor on their behalf.
Send the student list
Once profiles exist, email the list of students you want to register to the Commission. Include each student name and the email address on their profile.
Prepay the group
Registration is not complete until payment is received. Schools prepay for the roster in one transaction at $65.00 per student.
A submitted roster without payment does not hold seats. Confirm payment before the registration deadline.
What your students need.
Ohio certification is open to anyone with at least 12 months of continuous full-time experience in the dental profession, or who is enrolled in or has graduated from an accredited dental assisting programme.
Current students must have completed at least 50 percent of the programme at the time they sit the exam.
What each student needs on file
- A completed profile in the portal
- A notarised letter of recommendation
- A current CPR certification
- Payment received by the deadline
Send your roster.
Email the list once your students have profiles. The Commission will confirm seats and send exam day information roughly thirty days before the date.
